On July 2nd, 2019, we announced a voluntary recall of seat posts for Faraday bicycles in cooperation with the @uscpsc The four models included in the recall are the Porteur, Porteur S, Cortland, and Cortland S. The originally installed seat post, engraved with either “HL” or “Zoom,” can break and pose a fall hazard to the rider. We are committed to the safety of all of our customers and are providing a free seat post replacement and free installation at a specialty bicycle retailer for all recalled seat posts, at no charge. Please do not attempt to replace the seat post yourself. Customers should immediately stop using their bicycle. Please visit www.faradaybikes.com or www.recallrtr.com/faradayseatpost to register your bicycle. You may also contact Faraday toll-free at 888-770-7085 or by email at seatpostrecall@faradaybikes.com.
